Little Demon Bench
Black Walnut & Ebony. Three of these 'Little Demons' were commissioned to fit snugly within a window bay as part of a kitchen renovation project. Three feet in width, these narrow benches work well as part of a long bank of informal seating for hanging out in the kitchen. Alone, they also work well as cozy two-person benches. As for the name, given the 'horns' on the back legs, the devilish figure of the grain in the back rails, and the fact that the clients have three sons who will someday inherit the benches, I just couldn't resist.
